inspiration can be an idea, an influence, or an illumination that leads to creation. sometimes it's sudden, sometimes it's elusive, sometimes it appears when you're not expecting it, and it can hide where you would never have thought to find it. some have their muses, while other more pragmatic and scholarly people stick to their own methods. it is inevitably influenced by your experience, so finding it in a seemingly simple task that you're not accustomed to doing can be difficult, enough so to make you feel quite stupid in front of a blank page (or drawing).

anyway, the point is that drawing rocks isn't so easy.
